Acting debut Lakshya made his acting debut at the age of 19 with the teen drama, Warrior High. He starred alongside Anupriya Kapoor and Romit Sharma in the TV show. He then bagged a lead role in the supernatural series Adhuri Kahaani Hamari. He had also appeared in an episode of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.

Big TV break Lakshya earned his first TV big break with Ekta Kapoor's Star Plus romantic drama series Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil in 2016. He played the supporting role of Veer Mehra. He then went on to star in the historical TV show Porus the Elder in 2017, which is allegedly India's most expensive television series with a budget of Rs 500 crore.
Dostaana 2 Lakshaya had signed a three-film contract with Dharma Productions back in 2019. He was initially cast with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor in Dostaana 2, but the movie was eventually put on indefinite hold. His other film, Bedhadak, which he was working on with Shanaya Kapoor, was also cancelled.

The Bads of Bollywood After two years, Lakshaya returned with a hit series, The Bads of Bollywood, directed and created by debutante Aryan Khan. He once again shared screen with Raghav in the Netflix series, which also stars Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Gautami Kapoor in the key roles, with cameos from Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and others. The series opened with positive reviews, with Lakshaya receiving praise for his stellar performance as an aspiring actor.
Lakshaya’s upcoming project Lakshaya has already bagged a new project. He will star in Vivek Soni's Chand Mera Dil alongside Ananya Panday. The film will be produced by Dharma Productions.
