Actress Ankita Lokhande shared a touching birthday message for Shweta Singh Kirti, the sister of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, reminding fans once again of the warmth and bond that continues to exist between them.

Taking to her social media stories, Ankita expressed her love and admiration for Shweta, calling her “the most beautiful woman and an amazing soul.”

She wrote, “Happy birthday to most beautiful woman and an amazing soul (red heart emoji) Love u Shweta di (red heart emoji) @shwetasinghkirti.”

Ankita and Sushant’s story goes back to their early television days. The two met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta, one of Indian television’s most beloved shows, where they played the iconic couple, Archana and Manav.

The two started dating in 2010 after their on-screen chemistry quickly developed into a real-life relationship.

For years, they were among the most loved couples in the industry.

However, Sushant's social media announcement of their split in 2016 marked the end of their relationship.

The devastating news of Sushant Singh Rajput's passing in 2020 rocked the nation. At the age of 34, he was discovered dead at his Bandra, Mumbai, home.

According to the post-mortem report, the actor died from hanging-related asphyxia. Fans and coworkers still feel the void left by his passing.

Today, Ankita is happily married to Vicky Jain, a businessman who recently made his debut as a film producer with Haq, starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi.

Sharing her gratitude for the blessings in her life, Ankita recently wrote, “Worship of the goddess in the house and the presence of so many gods has given us immense peace and blessings. Vicky and I are standing as a team today on the path of this success—the journey as Vicky's producer is part of the same grace.”
