Another exciting milestone has been unlocked in the world of K-pop! Fan-favourite girl group BLACKPINK has created history by becoming the first female group to perform at London’s legendary Wembley Stadium. This achievement places them alongside an elite list of global music icons such as Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, BTS, and Oasis, who have all graced the iconic venue.

On Friday and Saturday, the four-member powerhouse—Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé—dazzled nearly 78,000 fans each night with their high-energy performances, breathtaking visuals, and unforgettable stage presence. The back-to-back sold-out shows proved not only their global popularity but also the incredible loyalty of BLINKs, their fanbase.

Lisa shared her heartfelt gratitude on stage, saying, “What an absolute honour to be performing here at Wembley Stadium. We’re absolutely in awe of you guys for showing up and making this possible.” Jennie added, “It’s an epic dream. And it still feels a little unreal.” Rosé also reflected on the moment, recalling their past London show and expressing, “The last time we were here in London was insane, but this was a whole other level. We’re really grateful you stuck around and supported us.”

Adding to the excitement, reports suggest that BLACKPINK is preparing to release a brand-new mini album this November. According to Soompi, the group had initially aimed for an October release but decided to push the project slightly to ensure perfection. Fans can also expect promotional performances tied to the comeback.

Meanwhile, the group’s ongoing DEADLINE World Tour continues to draw massive crowds across the globe. The tour, which kicked off in July at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in South Korea, features 31 concerts in 16 cities. Following successful legs in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and London, BLACKPINK is set to take a short two-month break starting August 16. The tour will resume on October 18 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
