In a landmark move for Indian digital entertainment, Atrangii has launched its Free Ad-supported Streaming Television (FAST) channels on LG and Xiaomi smart TVs, becoming the first Indian OTT platform to debut a Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) on LG’s FAST ecosystem.

Powered by Amagi’s state-of-the-art cloud-native broadcast infrastructure and distributed via Amagi Connect, this strategic rollout marks a pivotal moment in Atrangii’s mission to redefine how Indian audiences consume television content.

This rollout positions Atrangii as a leader in the next wave of digital broadcasting, offering premium Hindi programming—completely free of charge and without requiring logins or subscriptions. Atrangii’s content can now be accessed directly via scheduled, linear-style viewing on smart TVs, delivering a seamless, traditional TV-like experience optimised for modern platforms.

Already known for its boundary-pushing narratives and diverse slate of originals—including hits like NCR, KINK 2, Chitta Ve, Sabse Bada Rupaiya, and Ansuni—Atrangii’s FAST channels also bring a spiritual touch with a variety of devotional shows and bhajans. Viewers can enjoy soul-stirring content like Jai Jagannath, Mata Saraswati, Shri Tirupati Balaji, and Navgrah, offering a unique blend of contemporary and culturally rooted programming.

Expanding beyond LG and Xiaomi, the brand is also set to launch on TCL and RUNN TV, with further integration across platforms such as Yupp and CloudWalker currently in testing. This expansion reinforces Atrangii’s commitment to becoming a household name across India’s connected TV ecosystem.

Prashant Nigam, VP Revenue for Atrangii, noted: “Collaborating with Amagi and launching on LG and Xiaomi is not just a technological upgrade—it’s a revolution in how our audience consumes content… We’re excited to be at the forefront of the Hindi-language FAST revolution.”

LG echoed the sentiment, with a spokesperson stating, “By bringing Atrangii’s dynamic and diverse content to LG Channels… we’re giving our audience more ways to access quality Indian entertainment without the subscription barriers.”

Looking ahead, Atrangii’s Hindi GEC FAST channel is set to enter global markets through international platforms, further amplifying its reach and solidifying its position as a pioneer in the Indian OTT landscape.
