Anupamaa written update August 25: Parag blesses Prarthana and Ansh

When Parag starts crying, Anupama comforts him by pointing out to him that Prarthana has already faced a lot of difficulties.

Anupamaa is now headed for a major drama. Ansh and Prarthana are finally united and married. The couple now seeks everyone’s blessings.

The blessing ceremony after Ansh and Prarthana's marriage is marred by dispute.  Anupama steps in to protect pregnant Prarthana by recommending that the elders come to them instead of it being vice versa and Leela, insists that the couple bend for blessings. Everyone complies.  Anupama then discusses her views on marriage, identifying the modern wife as a partner (Sahagamini) who supports her husband through the highs and lows of life rather than as a follower (Anugamini).

The hunt for Ansh's stolen shoes adds to the festive atmosphere. Rahi's group is successful in negotiating a prize, which Anupama makes sure is given. Prarthana is comforted by Ansh and Anupama as Leela gets ready for her parting ceremony. Prarthana is missing her father, Parag. Anupama muses that he was probably held away by his ego.

Anil and Anupama talk on the emotional weight of a daughter's departure, pointing out that parents who shielded her and taught her to walk must now quietly step back. Prem goes on to say that their tears are also filled with joy for her fresh start.

Parag unexpectedly shows up right before the farewell. Following a tearful reunion, he blesses Ansh by symbolically giving him Prarthana's hand. At home, a cunning Gautam pretends to be upset about Parag's absence. He is consoled by Khyati and Vasundhara, who promise to take Prarthana's child against Parag's desires while Gautam secretly schemes to destroy Ansh and Anupama.
