Amaran OTT release date: When and where to watch Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Tamil hit movie

Amaran is going to release on OTT soon.

Tamil actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s megahit movie Amaran has finally got an OTT release date after facing many hurdles.

The movie, which is a biographical drama, is getting ready for its OTT release on December 5.

Amaran, which has had a successful run in the theaters, will finally stream on Netflix from December 5. The movies are still running to packed houses in theaters. The Tamil movie has earned over Rs 322 crore at the box office.

Generally, Tamil movies have their OTT releases after a 28-day pre-bound with streaming partners, but there’s always an exception if the movie is a mega hit.

In Amaran's case, since the movie was running to packed houses in theaters and had been received warmly from the audience, distributors had requested makers to delay the digital release for a few more days.

Hence Amaran, which was slated to release on OTT in November-end, was postponed to December.

The film has been produced by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran, and Vivek Krishnani under the banners Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India.

Sivakarthikeyan is seen in the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan along with Sai Pallavi, who plays his wife.

Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, and Gaurav Venkatesh are also seen in pivotal roles in the hit movie.
