The spotlight, however, shone brightest on Alia Bhatt, who made a stunning statement by re-wearing her iconic ‘mehendi’ lehenga.

Alia, a fashion icon known for her elegant style, chose the pink lehenga that first made headlines at her mehendi ceremony in April 2022. Crafted by Manish Malhotra, the lehenga is a true work of art, showing intricate Kashmiri and Chikankari thread-work across 180 textile patches. The masterpiece took over 3,000 hours to complete, a testament to the craftsmanship and detailing that went into its creation.

At the party, Alia looked radiant, posing gracefully for the cameras while flaunting the lehenga's beauty. She paired the outfit with statement earrings and styled her hair in a sleek bun, letting the ensemble take centre stage. Her makeup, featuring soft rosy tones, added to the overall elegance. This isn’t the first time Alia has re-worn significant pieces from her wedding wardrobe; she recently donned her wedding saree for the National Award Ceremony, promoting a trend of sustainability and mindful fashion.

The lehenga's blouse, adorned with real gold and silver nakshi and kora flowers, also featured vintage gold metal sequins from Kutch and a distinct heart-shaped cut at the hem, adding to the outfit's uniqueness.
