Polling for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, has seen a 47.8% voter turnout in five hours, and in 2019, it was 60.09% voter. Firozabad, situated in Uttar Pradesh, serves as both a Lok Sabha constituency and a district. This electoral region comprises five Vidhan Sabha seats: Tundla, Jasrana, Firozabad, Shikohabad, and Sirsaganj. As per the 2011 census, the population of Firozabad was approximately 2.5 million.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, BJP's Chandra Sen Jadoun emerged victorious in the Firozabad seat, securing 495,819 votes. He defeated the Samajwadi Party's Akshay Yadav, who secured 467,038 votes, while Shivpal Singh Yadav of the Progressive Socialist Party (Lohia) came in third with 91,869 votes. The Firozabad Lok Sabha seat witnessed a commendable voter turnout of 59.71 percent, reflecting the active participation of the electorate in the democratic process.

In the 2014 general elections, Firozabad witnessed a heated contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP). SP's candidate, Akshay Yadav, garnered significant support, securing over 500,000 votes, which accounted for 48.4 percent of the total votes cast. Meanwhile, the BJP candidate Prof SP Singh Baghel received 38 percent of the votes.

Firozabad boasts a diverse demographic landscape, with several significant voter blocs shaping its electoral dynamics. The largest bloc comprises Yadavs, totalling approximately 4 lakh voters, followed by around 2.5 lakh Muslim voters. According to the 2011 census data, the Firozabad region boasts a Muslim population exceeding 15 percent. This demographic composition underscores the influential role that Muslim voters play in shaping electoral outcomes in the constituency. Additionally, there are between 2.5 to 3 lakh Lodhi and Nishad voters. Rajputs constitute over 1.5 lakh voters, while Vaishyas and Brahmins each number around 1 lakh. Beghals also contribute significantly to the electoral landscape.

This intricate mix of demographics underscores the complexity of Firozabad's political landscape. Understanding the nuances of these demographic groups is crucial for political parties to formulate effective strategies and appeal to a wide range of voters.
