Naam Tamilar Katchi, led by Tamil nationalist Seeman, is leading in third place in at least five to eight seats, leaving BJP or AIADMK in the dust. The seats where NTK is gaining ground are Nagapattinam, Erode, Thoothukudi, Kanyakumari, and Tirunelveli.

In the Central Chennai constituency, DMK candidate Dayanidhi Maran received 1,31,0000 votes, while BJP contender Vinoj received 62,493 fewer votes.

With 1,84,451 votes in Tiruchirapalli, Durai Vaiko of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), an ally of the INDIA bloc, takes a commanding lead. AIADMK pathways

Dayanidhi Maran, the DMK candidate, received 1.02 lakh of the 1.86 lakh votes counted after round 4 of the Central Chennai parliamentary seat, while Vinoj, the BJP candidate, trailed with 46,878 votes. With 18251 votes, DMDK candidate Parthasarathy comes in third.

Durai Vaiko of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), an ally of the INDIA Bloc, tops the field in Tiruchirapalli with 1,14,277 votes, followed by Karuppaiah of the AIADMK. P faring poorly with 54,574 votes

Based on preliminary statistics, the DMK candidates Kalanidhi Veeraswamy, Thamizhachi Thangapandian, and Dayanidhi Maran are dominating all three constituencies in Chennai.

Thirty-nine Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu are presently held by the DMK and its allies. Just two seats are held by the main opposition party, AIADMK (S Tamilmani in Namakkal and R Kumaraguru in Kallakurichi), while PMK (Sowmiya Anbumani), the BJP's ally, is leading in Dharmapuri. Sasikanth Senthil (Congress), an IAS officer turned politician, is in the lead in Tiruvallur.

Early trends show that CPM candidate Venkatesan S is taking lead from Madurai constituency in Tamil Nadu 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In the Tamil Nadu 2024 Lok Sabha election, initial trends indicate that Congress candidate Vijay Vasanth is leading in the Kanniyakumari constituency.

Vellore will see a three-way battle between BJP, DMK, and AIADMK. Pasupathi representing AIADMK will contest against A.C. Shanmugham of the BJP and Kathir Anand of the DMK. These constituencies highlight the diverse political contests and the varied representation in the elections.

In Tamil Nadu, the Congress is currently leading in seven constituencies: Tirunelveli, Mayiladuthurai, Cuddalore, Virudhunagar, Sivaganga, Karur, and Tiruvallur. These results show a good start for the Congress across different areas of the state. It's a positive sign for them as they move forward in the election process.

As the votes are counted, the India bloc is leading with a strong 35 seats. On the other hand, both ADMK+ and NDA have only won one seat each so far. Other parties haven't won any seats yet. This shows that the India bloc is in a commanding position as the counting continues.

In the Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Election of 2024, the early trends are showing that Ganapathy Rajkumar P from DMK is ahead in the Coimbatore constituency. Meanwhile, Nainar Nagenthran of BJP is leading in Tirunelveli. The Congress is expected to secure victory in the Union Territory of Puducherry. With a high voter turnout of 77.86%, the Lok Sabha seat in Puducherry saw significant engagement. The electoral battle in this region features a contest between A Namassivayam of the BJP and the incumbent Congress MP V Vaithilingam, who is seeking re-election for another term. In total, 26 candidates are contesting for the single Lok Sabha seat in Puducherry.

As the vote counting begins, the INDIA bloc has taken an early lead by winning 32 out of the 39 seats. Meanwhile, both the NDA and ADMK+ have each secured 2 seats, while other parties are standing at 0.

DMK leader Thamizhachi Thangapandian predicts a clean sweep for the DMK, winning all 40 seats in Tamil Nadu, and a grand victory for the INDIA alliance across the nation. It is a massive triumph for the DMK front here and a significant win for the INDIA alliance overall.

Tamil Nadu recorded a voter turnout of 72.09 percent in the Lok Sabha polls held in a single phase on April 19, with no major untoward incidents. About 1.3 lakh police personnel and 190 companies of Central Armed Police forces were deployed for free and fair polls in 68,321 polling stations. In 2024, the voter turnout decreased compared to 2019, when it was 73.3%.

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is contesting all 22 Lok Sabha seats in the Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The DMK's comprehensive campaign aims to retain its stronghold in the state, building on its 2019 success where it won 38 seats. The Congress will fight elections in 10 seats (including one in Puducherry). Other parties like the VC, CPI, and CPIM will contest two seats each. The IUML and MDMK will fight in one seat each.

MK Stalin, the president of the DMK and the Chief Minister, led his party’s campaign with a focus on social justice, his administration’s welfare initiatives, and the 'dangers' posed by the BJP, which he argues has undermined fiscal federalism. A key element of the DMK’s campaign highlighted their continuous efforts to secure funds from the Central government, particularly for flood relief.

Kanniyakumari has traditionally been a stronghold for national parties like Congress and BJP, rather than the DMK and its Dravidian politics. Former Chief Minister and DMK President M. Karunanidhi famously said, “Nellai enadhu ellai; Kumari enadhu thollai,” which means challenges faced by Dravidian parties in these regions.
