 
            
                           The Congress, on April 2, released a list of 17 candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
YS Sharmila Reddy has been nominated to represent Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh, while Tariq Anwar has been nominated for Katihar in Bihar.
The party also released its list of 78 candidates for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections.

The Congress announced its candidates for nine seats allocated through the seat-sharing arrangement within the grand alliance in Bihar.
In Kishanganj, Katihar, and Bhagalpur, the party has designated its candidates. Mohammed Jawed, a Congress MP, will contest from the Kishanganj Lok Sabha constituency, while Tariq Anwar will stand for Katihar. Ajeet Sharma, a Congress MLA, has been nominated for the Bhagalpur Lok Sabha seat.
Additionally, MM Pallam Raju, former education minister, will represent Congress in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada.

In West Bengal, Dr. Munish Tamang has been announced as the sole candidate from Darjeeling.
These nominations bring the total number of declared candidates by the party to 228.
