UPSC CSD 2025 Notification Released: Submit Application by Dec 31, Link to Apply Here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination I, 2025. Aspirants interested in a career in the defence services can apply online through the UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

Vacancies

UPSC is conducting the recruitment process to fill a total of 457 posts. The detailed distribution of vacancies is as follows:

• Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 160th (DE) Course commencing in January 2026 – 100 posts
• Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: Course commencing in January 2026 (Executive Branch) – 32 posts
• Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in January 2026 – 32 posts
• Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras): 123rd SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April 2026 – 275 posts 37th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April 2026 – 18 posts

Important Dates

• Last Date to Apply Online: 31 December 2024
• Application Modification Period: 1 January 2025 to 7 January 2025
• Last Date for Registration Modifications: 7 January 2025
• Exam Date: 13 April 2025

Candidates can make necessary corrections in their application form during the modification period. The e-Admit Cards will be issued on the last working day of the week before the examination. These will be available for download on the UPSC website. No hard copies of the e-Admit Card will be sent via post.
