The same report says he reached her room around 5.30 pm, woke her up, and the two spoke for about 15 minutes before deciding to go for dinner.

The report further states that Sridevi then went into the washroom to freshen up. When she did not respond for about 15 minutes, Boney reportedly knocked, got no reply, and forced the door open. He allegedly found her lying motionless in a bathtub filled with water.

Khaleej Times, quoting a source, reported that Boney tried to revive her, and when he could not, he called a friend and later informed the police around 9 pm. She was then taken to Rashid Hospital, where she was declared “brought dead,” as multiple reports stated at the time.
