  • Film sold over three lakh tickets in India for premiere shows
  • Ranveer Singh leads a star-studded cast in the spy-action sequel

The film is shattering records before it even hits theaters. This eagerly awaited sequel, set to debut in the coming week, has apparently surpassed Rs 50 crore in worldwide advance bookings, indicating a strong opening both domestically and internationally.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is the follow-up to the blockbuster Dhurandhar, which had a phenomenal run at the global box office and became one of the biggest Hindi films in recent years. Riding on the success of the first instalment, expectations from the sequel are sky-high.

According to Pinkvilla, with approximately Rs. 16 crore from India, the global pre-sales total around Rs. 48.50 crore, and they are anticipated to surpass the Rs. 50 crore milestone today. In fact, as I write this article, additional sales from India and Australia likely mean that figure has already exceeded that amount. The final pre-sales are projected to comfortably exceed Rs. 100 crore, potentially finishing above Rs. 150 crore. There is even a possibility of reaching Rs. 200 crore, though this will become clearer once the weekend advance bookings in India are opened.

The pre-booking figures for the film have been outstanding in key markets such as India, North America, and Australia. The impressive advance sales have allowed the film to exceed the Rs 50 crore threshold worldwide in pre-sales, demonstrating significant excitement among viewers before its release in theaters.

The spy-action drama has also been performing strongly in India’s national cinema chains, with thousands of tickets already sold for the premiere shows. Reports suggest that the film has sold over three lakh tickets in advance, with India alone contributing more than Rs 18 crore in pre-sales so far.

In North America alone, the film has reportedly crossed $2 million in advance bookings, placing it among the biggest pre-release performers for a Hindi film in that region.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The high-octane trailer featuring Ranveer Singh in an intense avatar has already generated massive excitement on social media.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun in key roles.
