NEET UG 2025 Syllabus: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has officially unveiled the syllabus for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) – Undergraduate (UG) 2025. This comprehensive syllabus covers the core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, providing a solid foundation for aspiring medical students.

The Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission recently issued a notice advising stakeholders to refer to the updated syllabus for NEET UG 2025 in preparation for study materials and the NEET UG examinations for the academic session 2025-2026.

In the notice, the NMC UG Board stated, "It is notified to all stakeholders, especially aspiring candidates, that the Under Graduate Medical Education Board, an autonomous body under the National Medical Commission, has finalized the NEET (UG) 2025 syllabus. This updated syllabus has been uploaded on the NMC website for public reference. Stakeholders are advised to consult the updated syllabus for preparing study materials and for NEET (UG) 2025 examination preparations for the academic session 2025-2026. This notification is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority."

NMC Secretary Dr. B Srinivas addressed stakeholders and aspiring candidates for NEET UG 2025, referencing Public Notice No. U-14023/19/2023-UGMEB dated December 10, 2024, issued by the UGMEB. The notice, which includes a detailed syllabus outlining topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, was shared to ensure all concerned parties are informed. Dr. Srinivas emphasized, "The detailed syllabus for NEET UG 2025, which includes descriptions of topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, is enclosed with this communication. All stakeholders and aspirants are requested to take note of this."

NEET-UG 2025 Syllabus

The NEET-UG 2025 syllabus, now available on the NMC website, covers three main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Physics: The Physics syllabus includes 20 units covering topics such as Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Optics, and Modern Physics. Key areas include motion, laws of motion, work and energy, waves, and electromagnetic induction.

Chemistry: Chemistry is divided into Physical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry, with 20 units. Topics include atomic structure, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, p-block elements, hydrocarbons, and biomolecules.

Biology: The Biology syllabus consists of 10 units, covering subjects like cell structure, human physiology, genetics, ecology, biotechnology, and plant physiology.
