The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has officially released the provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download the answer key from the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The key was made available earlier than the previously announced date of May 26, providing students with additional time to review their responses.

Exam Details and Answer Key Access

JEE Advanced 2025 was conducted on May 18 in two shifts. Paper 1 took place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while Paper 2 was held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. To download the answer key, candidates need to visit the official website, select the relevant paper (Paper 1 or Paper 2), and save the PDF for reference.

Candidates can follow these steps to check the provisional answer key:

Step 1. Visit the official website – jeeadv.ac.in.

Step 2. Click on the answer key link for Paper 1 or Paper 2, as applicable.

Along with the provisional answer key, IIT Kanpur had earlier released the candidates’ response sheets on May 22. Students who find discrepancies in the answer key can submit objections between May 26 (10 AM) and May 27 (5 PM). The final answer key, incorporating necessary corrections, will be published on June 2, along with the results.

Following the results, the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) registration will begin on June 2 (10 AM) and remain open until June 3 (5 PM). The AAT exam is scheduled for June 5 (9 AM to 12 PM), with results expected on June 8 (5 PM). Meanwhile, the JoSAA counselling process for IIT and NIT admissions will commence on June 3 (5 PM).
