Elon Musk has hit back at billionaire investor Vinod Khosla after a heated exchange over the issue of race. The row began when Musk said that the population of White people on earth is reducing.
The post read: "White people are a rapidly diminishing minority of global population." Lashing out at Musk, billionaire investor Khosla called the Tesla and SpaceX founder racist adding that Musk wants to promote WAGA, short for 'white America great again' agenda and not MAGA. Moreover, Khosla has urged Musk employees, particularly non-whites and "decent" white people to quit and join him.
Khosla added, “All non-whites in Tesla and SpaceX and all decent whites should quit and join our portfolio. Email us your LinkedIn!”
Musk responded and called Khosla “pompous,” saying The Tesla boss responded and called Khosla “pompous,” saying ..
his partner is half-Indian: “You’ve also gone full r***rd. My partner, Shivon, is half Indian and my eldest son with her is named in honor of the great Indian physicist Chandrasekhar.”
While Khosla referenced an older post from Musk, the Tesla CEO’s comments on immigration have remained in focus more recently as well.
Earlier this month, Musk came under criticism after appearing to endorse a post claiming that white men could face existential danger if they became a minority. Musk reacted with a “100” emoji, which was widely interpreted as being supportive to the argument.
The topic of immigration has become a recurring theme in Musk’s online commentary lately. He has repeatedly highlighted his stance that large-scale migration could destabilise societies. Musk has defended his position by framing it as a concern over public safety, economic strain and social cohesion, rather than race.
