The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 Hindi exam 2025 today, February 28, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This exam is a crucial part of the CBSE board assessments and was held across 7,842 exam centres in India. Approximately 24.12 lakh students appeared for the exam, making it one of the most significant tests in the Class 10 curriculum.

Students were required to arrive at their designated centres before 10:00 AM, as the entry gates closed at that time. They were also required to carry their CBSE Class 10 admit card and school ID to be allowed entry. To facilitate smooth movement, Delhi Metro provided priority frisking and ticketing for students appearing for the CBSE board exams.

Students’ Reactions

Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 Hindi exam shared that the paper was of easy to moderate difficulty. Many found it well-structured and in line with the CBSE Class 10 Hindi syllabus 2024-25. While the literature section was considered simple and easy to attempt, some students found the grammar section a bit challenging and required extra focus. Overall, the exam was seen as fair and similar to the CBSE sample papers.

Teachers’ Analysis

Teachers who reviewed the CBSE Class 10 Hindi exam 2025 found it well-structured and aligned with the NCERT syllabus. The paper followed the CBSE sample paper pattern, ensuring familiarity for students.

The question paper included a mix of direct and analytical questions, testing both theoretical understanding and practical application. While the literature and grammar sections were balanced and concept-driven, some students found the writing section slightly challenging. However, there were no unexpected or overly difficult questions, making the paper accessible to well-prepared students.

Lalit Kumar Mishra, from Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, said that the question paper was balanced and could be completed within the allotted time, posing no significant difficulty to the students. The grammar and creative writing questions were designed in a practical manner to assess students' language and writing skills. Additionally, the question paper included skill-based and value-based questions, emphasizing the students' overall intellectual development.

The language used in the question paper was clear and concise, allowing students to comprehend the questions without spending excessive time.

Amita Shukla, HOD Hindi, at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Lucknow, said that the Class 10 Hindi Course-B board exam paper has been deemed relatively easy by students, according to initial feedback. The paper was well-balanced, offering a fair mix of questions that tested students' knowledge and comprehension skills. Notably, the unseen passage options were surprisingly easy this time, while the seen passage options posed a slight challenge.

However, the paper's length was a concern, leaving students with insufficient time to review their answers. Despite this, the overall consensus is that the paper was good, and students are expected to score well. The grammar section and writing skills section in the Hindi board paper were particularly easy, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their skills.

Overall, the exam was considered fair across all sets, assessing students' knowledge effectively. Those who had prepared thoroughly had a good chance of scoring well.
