The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 10 Hindi board exam today, 28 February 2025. The exam took place from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at 7,842 centres across India. Around 24.12 lakh students appeared for the examination, making it one of the most important papers in the Class 10 curriculum. Students had to reach their respective centres before 10:00 AM as entry gates closed at that time.
Exam Pattern and Structure
The CBSE Class 10 Hindi exam is divided into two courses: Course A and Course B. Both papers were worth 80 marks, with an additional 20 marks for internal assessment.
Hindi Course A Exam Pattern
Total Questions: 15 (all compulsory)
Hindi Course B Exam Pattern
Total Questions: 16 (all compulsory)
The board exams began earlier with subjects like English, Science, Sanskrit, and Social Science, which were considered moderately difficult. The exams will continue until 18 March 2025, following the official CBSE schedule. With the Hindi exam now completed, students will focus on their remaining subjects. It is recommended to revise thoroughly, practise sample papers, and manage time efficiently for the upcoming board exams.
