PNB MetLife launches pension premier multi-cap fund in partnership with Policybazaar

PNB MetLife India Insurance Company Ltd has launched a pension premier multicap fund as part of its unit-linked insurance plans (ULIPs) for which it has tied up with Policybazaar.

The new offering is aimed at helping customers to build a financially secure retirement corpus while ensuring life insurance coverage, the company said in a release on April 8. The fund will be open for subscription from April 1 to April 15 at an initial Net Asset Value (NAV) of Rs 10.

“Retirement planning is not just about saving money, it’s about making smart investment choices that ensure long-term financial independence. With this fund, we offer customers a robust opportunity to build wealth through a diversified portfolio," PNB MetLife chief investment officer Sanjay Kumar said.

The product is offered under PNB MetLife Smart Invest Pension Plan combining investment growth with insurance protection, the release said.

The fund is structured around PNB MetLife’s existing multi-cap strategy, targeting long-term wealth creation. It aims to outperform the S&P BSE 500 Index by investing in a diversified mix of equities across market caps, it said.

“Traditionally, Indians relied on personal savings or family support for retirement but that is changing. This partnership represents a shift toward structured, flexible pension products designed for portfolio stability and long-term wealth," said Vivek Jain, chief business officer for life insurance at Policybazaar.
