Chills and scares are on their way as the OTT platform announces a slate of shows and movies in the horror space.

Fans of the horror genre are in for a treat with Prime Video’s announcement of new films and shows which includes a variety of horror and supernatural. So, bring on the popcorn and snuggle in because you don’t want to be getting up in the middle of all the scares!

Andhera (Hindi)

Six writers, including Gaurav Desai, Raaghav Dar, Karan Anshuman, Chintan Sarda, Akshat Ghildial, and Karmanya Ahuja come together to write a show about a sinister force hunting down the living in Mumbai. In this visceral tale of urban horror, a fearless cop and a haunted medical student must take on this living darkness to avert impending doom. The series is produced by Excel Media and Entertainment LLP and directed by Raaghav Dar. The cast includes Priya Bapat, Karanvir Malhotra, Prajakta Koli, Surveen Chawla, Vatsal Sheth, Parvin Dabas, and Pranay Pachauri.

Inspector Rishi (Tamil)

In this supernatural horror series, skeptical crime branch Inspector Rishi Nandhan investigates a string of peculiar murders intertwined with supernatural occurrences. As he unravels the mysteries, he confronts both the chilling crimes and his own inner turmoil. Writer, director, and creative producer Nandhini JS directs a cast which includes Naveen Chandra, Sunainaa, Kanna Ravi, Malini Jeevarathnam, Srikrishna Dayal, and Kumaravel.

Khauf (Hindi)

A young woman moves into a hostel room in Delhi, unaware of its dark history of violence and hidden secrets. Grappling with the shadows of her troubled past, she finds herself entangled in a struggle against unexplained forces that manifest both within the confines of the room and outside. Monika Panwar, Rajat Kapoor, Abhishek Chauhan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Shilpa Shukla star in thw show written and created by Smita Singh and produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil. Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan are the directors.

Chhorii 2 (Hindi)

After the success of Chhorii 2, the horror continues as Sakshi needs to rescue her seven-year-old daughter from being sacrificed by an evil cult to satisfy Pradhan Ji, their resident leader, while fighting societal superstitions and the horror that continues to haunt her and young women around her. T-Series, Crypt TV, and Abundantia Entertainment are backing the film and Vishal Furia is back in the director’s chair. Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan star in the horror film.
