    IPL spot-fixing scandal: Jagdale meets Delhi Police

    Former secretary to Board of Control for Cricket in India met officials from Delhi Police to help them understand BCCI's role in the tripartriate agreement between Rajasthan Royals and the three arrested cricketers.

    Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Sanjay Jagdale, who resigned on Friday night, met the Delhi Police to understand BCCI’s role in the agreement between Rajasthan Royals and disgraced cricketers S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila, and Ankeet Chavan reports CNBC-TV18.


    They also wanted to understand the revenue model of Indian Premier League (Indian Premier League) with respect to the spot-fixing scandal.

    The Rajasthan Royals franchise had filed complaint against the trio of Sreesanth, Chandila and Chavan for breach of contract. The police also wanted to know whether the BCCI wanted to be a complainant in the case.


    Several other bookies and the three players have been arrested since the spot fixing scandal has come into limelight.
