The wait is almost over. We finally have a date on which Royal Enfield’s most ambitious bike till now— a 750 cc offering—will be unveiled.
Siddhartha Lal, the CEO of Eicher Motors and Royal Enfield in a short video posted on Instagram, rather cryptically announced the date on which the bike will be launched. He wrote: “07.11.17 #RoyalEnfield #ridepure #EICMA," indicating that the much-awaited bike will be on display during the Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA) on November 7.
The video which is an aerial view of two bikes passing over a racing track, is believed to be of the company’s latest offering. This is second such teaser by the top honchos of the motorcycle manufacturer. Earlier, in October, Royal Enfield's President Rudratej Singh tweeted a picture which showed partial images of the bike.

This motorcycle will mark company’s entry into the middleweight segment and it will take on established players like Harley and Davidson. The bike is being tipped as a global offering from Royal Enfield. The company has been trying hard to expand its footprint globally and as late as last month, it was in talks to acquire the Italian giant Ducati.

At this point, not much information is available about the bike but it has been spotted quite a few times while testing. The bike looks identical to the company’s Continental GT model.
Expected to churn out 50 bhp and 60 Nm of peak torque, the bike reportedly has a 270-degree crankshaft. It is rumoured to have a 17-inch rim with a 120-section tyre and a 160-section tyre at the rear along with ABS discs on both wheels.
While the speed has never been the forte of the company, in a video posted on YouTube, the new model while being tested was able to give Bajaj Dominar a run for its money.
