India Rebuked WSJ for ‘Unfortunate’ Claim on Air India Crash

India has strongly refuted a Wall Street Journal report claiming that the Air India crash on June 12 was caused as the captain cut off the fuel to the engines. Government sources called it an "unfortunate leak" to foreign media, adding that the cockpit voice recording was being misinterpreted. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has not found any conclusive evidence that the senior pilot activated the fuel cutoff switches.
