5.0-magnitude earthquake hits Nepal, tremors felt in Delhi-NCR region

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal on Friday, just days after a significant quake shook Myanmar and Thailand. According to the National Centre for Seismology, tremors from the earthquake in Nepal were also felt across the Delhi-NCR region.

The National Centre for Seismology reported that the earthquake occurred at 7:52 p.m. (local time), with its epicenter located at a depth of 20 kilometers.

Myanmar Earthquake 

A strong earthquake measuring 7.7 magnitude struck Myanmar on March 28, resulting in devastating impacts. The death toll has risen to 3,085 as of Thursday, with search and rescue teams continuing to find more bodies, according to the military-led government. In addition, 4,715 people have been injured, and 341 remain missing.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located near Mandalay, Myanmar's second-largest city. The quake caused extensive damage, collapsing thousands of buildings, buckling roads, and destroying bridges across multiple regions.
