X200 Pro

Vivo is all geared up to launch the X200 series in China this month. The company has also confirmed the launch of the Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and a compact Vivo X200 Pro mini smartphone on October 14. Ahead of its official unveiling, Vivo’s Vice President Jia Jingdong has revealed the design of the upcoming phones, providing a glimpse of what users can expect from the Vivo X200 series.

Vivo X200 series: Key details

The Vivo X200 Pro will be available in four shades, including black, white, beige, and blue. The Vivo X200 will also be available in the same unique textured blue finish, while the Vivo X200 Pro Mini will be available in four colour shades, which also include a pink and green option, replacing the blue and beige shades. All three smartphones will also have different screen sizes.

Despite its compact size, the Pro Mini is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz LTPO 1.5K OLED display. The Pro model is speculated to have a slightly larger screen, either 6.7 or 6.8 inches. In terms of optics, Jia Jingdong has confirmed that Vivo's X200 series will feature an Apple iPhone 16 Pro-like 4K 120fps slow-motion video recording support.

He also shared some care samples of the upcoming smartphones, and all the devices will have Sony's newest LYT-818 sensor, which can deliver improved power consumption as well. Further, these devices will have the new V3+ imaging chip that will also be able to capture Backlight Portrait footage to deliver better portrait videos under low light.

All three smartphones are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset with Origin OS 5. It will also have multiple AI features such as real-time translation or object recognition.

Vivo X200 series: Expected price

According to tipster Wang Zhikui, the Vivo X200 Vivo X200 will start at CNY 3,999 (around Rs 48,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. It will have different variants with up to 16GB RAM + 1TB storage priced at CNY 5,099 (around Rs 61,000). The X200 Pro Mini will start at CNY 4,599 for the 12 + 256GB base model. That phone will also come in 16 + 256GB (CNY 4,899) and 16 + 512GB (CNY 5,199) versions.

Lastly, the Vivo X200 Pro is tipped to cost CNY 5,199 (around Rs 62,000) for the 16GB + 256GB variant, while two top-tier versions with 16GB RAM and 512GB/1TB storage are priced at CNY 5,699 and CNY 6,199 respectively.
