Vivo has already started teasing the V50 smartphone and is also set to launch in just a couple of days from now. However, another smartphone – also from the Vivo V50 series – has started surfacing on the internet. The phone is a Vivo V50 Pro and while the company hasn’t talked anything about the Pro version as of now, details about the phone has surfaced online.
Launch details
Vivo has not announced the official launch date for the Vivo V50 Pro, and no promotional material for the device has been released. If the leaks are accurate, the launch event may coincide with the Vivo V50’s unveiling. Until an official announcement is made, specifications and pricing remain subject to change.
Expected specifications
The Vivo V50 Pro is rumoured to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, similar to the standard V50. It may be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chipset. The device is expected to include a triple-camera setup developed in collaboration with Zeiss. The primary sensor may be a 50-megapixel unit, accompanied by a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. The front camera is expected to have a 50-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
Additionally, the Vivo V50 Pro is rumoured to include a 6000mAh battery and may run on an Android 15-based user interface.
Expected price in India
According to leaks, the Vivo V50 Pro may launch at an estimated price of around Rs 45,000. A previous report suggested a starting price of Rs 37,999, which would place it Rs 3000 above the Vivo V40’s launch price. Last year, Vivo introduced the V40 Pro in India at a starting price of Rs 41,999. However, pricing details remain speculative as Vivo has yet to officially confirm the device.
