For the PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Naughty Dog partnered with Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy Studios. The game comes with 4K support, 3D audio (with compatible devices) and “plenty of PC-centric quality-of-life features”

The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC: New game modes and developer commentary
The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC brings all the new features of the original PS5 version of the game, like the No Return roguelike survival mode, a series of levels left on the cutting room floor featuring The Lost Levels developer commentary, a Guitar Free Play mode, and more.
The No Return mode arrives with 2 new characters and 4 new maps
The No Return mode in The Last of Us Part II Remastered includes “a host of playable characters to choose from - some playable for the first time in The Last of Us franchise who each come with their own traits to suit different playstyles,” Naughty Dog explained in an earlier website post.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PC introduces two new characters to the No Return Mode: Bill and Marlene from The Last of Us Part I. It also adds four new maps: Overlook, School, Nest and Streets.
In the No Return survival mode, “each run will offer a new chance to decide what rewards you get after each encounter, how you spec out your character, and more”. As you progress in the mode, you will unlock more characters, skins, and other items to be used in the mode. Choose between stealth and combat encounters, which will give you a range of enemies to deal with. Also, expect unique twists that bring “new, unexpected factors” to any given encounter, the developer added. You’ll also be able to customise your own runs and compete on the global leaderboard as part of a Daily Run(2).
The Guitar Free Play Mode
Just like in the PS5 version, the Part II Remastered on PC brings a new Guitar Free Play mode, which allows you to play “a host of unlockable instruments, use audio FX pedals to modulate your performance, and play as different characters in several in-game locations”.
Also, TLOU Part II Remastered PC players with a PlayStation Network account can earn PlayStation Trophies and access Friends lists, settings and their player profile through the PlayStation overlay, said the developer.
