Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 recently added a new Stranger Things expansion, inspired directly from Netflix’s hit sci-fi adventure TV show. The Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: Stranger Things expansion is now available for players.

As per Jorg Neumann, Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator, the Stranger Things DLC is an “adrenaline-packed journey into the universe of the cult series.”

Murray Bauman and his team step in to help the town of Hawkins, which has gone under lockdown. The town of Hawkins is crawling with dangerous supernatural beings, and some air support via a chopper is something the residents of Hawkins would highly appreciate. The Stranger Things expansion adds a Bell UH-1H Huey helicopter to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 so that you can help the Hawkins people from the supernatural dangers that have nearly laid waste to their small town.

Microsoft Flight Simulator’s Stranger Things expansion brings “five exhilarating missions, shady supply ops, close-call chases, and high-stakes rescues… all of it pulling you deeper into the city’s worst fears”, said the Microsoft Flight Simulator Head in a PlayStation Blog post.

Also, beyond the missions, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 players can explore Hawkins, Indiana, through “a highly detailed map and re-creation of the town with more than 40 iconic locations” from the Stranger Things TV show. Some of these include the Starcourt Mall, Hawkins Middle School, Hawkins National Laboratory and Hawkins Junkyard.
