British audio brand Marshall has launched the Major V on-the-ear headphones in India at a price tag of Rs 14,999. The Marshall Major V headphones can be purchased from Marshall.com.
The Marshall Major V headphones weigh around 186g and come in a rugged, foldable design. They come equipped with 40 mm drivers. Marshall claims that the Major V headphones take 3 hours to charge to full via USB-C and can give “100+ hours of wireless playtime.”

The Marshall Major V features a customisable M-button to enable in-app features like Spotify tap, EQ switching and voice assistant. Users can instantly access their favourite features with the M-button and Marshall Bluetooth app. Pressing the M-script logo opens the Spotify Tap by default.
You can also use the app to reconfigure the settings to access EQ presets or voice assistant.
Marshall claims that the Major V headphones produce an improved Marshall signature sound with reduced distortion.
According to the British audio product maker, the Major V headphones are ready for the Bluetooth LE Audio technology that is said to deliver higher audio quality, while increasing streaming range and improving audio
sync, for an even better connection when watching video.
Martin Wennberg, Product Manager for Marshall headphones, said in a press statement: “With Major IV we broke the mould with 80+ hours of playtime, but Major V go miles further by taking that total to 100+ hours. To honour the first pair of headphones we ever made, every detail has been painstakingly considered and refined for the fifth incarnation of Major - from their explosive sound to their iconic design.”
