Google Docs, the powerful documents editor and viewer app from Google, recently got the ‘Help me write’ feature, which lets you refine an existing document in multiple styles or even write entire paragraphs using a simple prompt with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). However, now Gemini in Google Docs is going a step further with the ‘Help me create’ feature that will help users create documents from scratch.
Google Docs ‘Help me create’ Gemini AI tool: Key detailsAccording to the Google Docs support page, the experimental ‘Help me create’ feature, powered by Gemini, will let you create formatted documents using Workspace files on your account. Moreover, this Google Docs feature has a long list of use cases, such as dinner party menus, campaign briefs, newsletters, proposals, blog posts, project trackers, resumes, and more.
It can also create inline images and full cover images in Docs by simply typing a prompt into the ‘Help me create’ feature. You will also get options to change aspect ratios and styles, including various photography effects. Further, with more refinements and AI-generated templates, Gemini AI can suggest relevant sections, prompts, and even content based on the provided information to create better and more useful documents
The ‘Help me create’ feature is currently in the testing phase and is part of Gemini for Google Workspace Alpha or Google’s early access testing program. A gradual, stable rollout is expected to happen in the coming weeks, and it is currently available only on a desktop in a new or blank document.
