Garmin has expanded its smartwatch portfolio with the launch of its all-new Fenix 8 series multisport GPS smartwatches in India. The new Fenix 8 series comes in two variants – Amoled and Solar. The latter also supports the Always-on display feature. Moreover, the watch supports features like a built-in speaker and microphone for taking calls, accessing voice assistant and more.

Garmin Fenix 8 comes in two variants – Amoled and Solar. The watch is available in three sizes – 43mm, 47mm and 51mm) The solar version is available only in 43mm and 47mm and also supports an always-on display. Apart from this, Garmin has rated this watch to deliver 29 days of battery life.
Designed for rugged use, all models include leak-proof metal buttons, a sensor guard, and meet military standards for thermal, shock, and water resistance. A titanium bezel and sapphire lens add durability.
Key features include a built-in speaker and microphone for phone calls, an adjustable LED flashlight with variable intensities and strobe mode, and advanced strength training plans. Dive capabilities support depths up to 40 meters, and the Garmin Messenger app enables two-way text messaging. The watch also offers advanced mapping with preloaded TopoActive maps, golf courses, and ski resorts, and customisable navigation options for outdoor exploration.
