Game of Thrones Legends is releasing next month: All you need to know

A new Game of Thrones game is coming to Android and iOS soon. Titled ‘Game of Thrones: Legends’, the game is developed by California-based video game studio Zynga. Some of you, perhaps, have played Zynga Poker at some point in time, but the US-based game developer is also behind fantasy franchise-related mobile games like Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells and Game of Thrones Slots Casino.

Coming back to the upcoming Game of Thrones mobile game, Zynga has promised special rewards to players who complete chapter one of Game of Thrones Legends within the opening week. Those who accomplish this feat in Game of Thrones Legends within the first week of launch will get “a king’s ransom of rewards”, and can claim Epic Champion Robert Baratheon.

Game of Thrones Legends: Genre and characters

Game of Thrones Legends is a puzzle-based role-playing game (puzzle RPG). Pick a noble house (we don’t know of many other than the Starks, but whatever) and start your journey in the universe created by author George RR Martin. Alliances are important in Game of Thrones Legends, which will help you defeat the enemy factions. The gameplay is comprised of deck building and puzzle battles.

Game of Thrones Legends features well-known characters like Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Arya Stark, Brienne of Tarth, the Night King and more. It will also feature a few characters from HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel show ‘House of the Dragon’ like Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Charge your Champion’s ability and use iconic weapons

Each Champion comes with a unique powerful ability. You can charge up their ability with matches and by solving puzzles. You’ll also get to equip characters with their signature weapons like Longclaw for Jon Snow and the Needle for Arya.

Game of Thrones Legends: Live (or relive) the narrative’s events

Game of Thrones Legends will feature limited-time events and tournaments based on important events in the Westeros mythos. Taking part in the historic events can also get you new GoT characters. For example, if you fight in The Battle of the Bastards, you can add Ramsay Bolton or the Wildling Giant ‘Wun Wun’ to your collection.

Game of Thrones Legends has a confirmed release date of July 25, 2024. Pre-registrations for the RPG are open on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
