Battle royale game Fortnite has added a new battle royale mode called Fortnite Reload. Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Reload BR mode:

Fortnite Reload: 40 players to fight it out on a new map

The Fortnite Reload game mode allows up to 40 players to battle it out on a new, small-sized island map. The new map features a few recognisable locations like Retail Row and Tilted Towers. The Fortnite Reload map can be easily explored on foot and does not feature drivable vehicles.

In Fortnite Reload, as long as one squad member remains alive, the squad members will reboot. If all are killed, then it’s game over for your team. The last team standing wins, be it Battle Royale or Zero Build.

Fortnite Reload is a Fill or No Fill Squad mode.

Fortnite Reload: Loot items and weapons

As of now, the Fortnite Reload map has the following loot items: Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, Grappler, Heavy Assault Rifle, Infantry Rifle, Lever Action Shotgun, OG Heavy Shotgun, Revolver, Rocket Launcher, Tactical Shotgun and Tactical Submachine Gun.

Fortnite Reload: Rules about reboots

In Fortnite Reload, once players get killed, their reboot timers start. The players reboot when the timer ends. Once eliminated, you don’t have to wait for a revive; you can instantly begin your reboot timer. Also, during the last moments of the match, the reboots will stop, which means dead squad members can’t bring themselves to life at that point.

According to Epic Games, “The reboot timers begin at 30 seconds and scale up to 40 seconds later in the match. Remaining teammates can reduce reboot timers by 2 seconds by downing an opponent, 4 seconds by eliminating one, and 10 seconds by wiping an opposing squad”.

Every player reboots with a common Assault Rifle and (for Build only) 100 wood.  “On elimination, players drop Small Shield Potions, medium ammo, light ammo, shotgun shells, and (for Build only) 50 of each building material”, says a Fornite news post.

You can earn Victory Crowns in Fortnite Reload. They’ll function just like they do in normal Battle Royale or Zero Build.

Fortnite Reload: Quests and awards

Fortnite Reload offers intro Quests for players with a 20,000 XP reward for each. If the player completes three Quests, it unlocks the Digital Dogfight Contrail. Complete six and you get the Pool Cubes Wrap. Those who finish nine get the NaNa Bath Back Bling. Players who get a Victory Royale, get the Rezzbrella Glider.
