Elden Ring Nightreign is getting the Duo Expeditions mode on July 30, as part of patch 1.02, developer FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco have announced. The Duo Expeditions mode in Elden Ring Nightreign is a two-player mode in which two Nightfarers can join forces against the Nightlords. The Elden Ring Nightreign version 1.02 update will also bring quality-of-life UI improvements, including more Relics filtering options, the developers said.
The next day, on July 31, four new Everdark Sovereigns will be added to Elden Ring Nightreign as part of the new Everdark cycle. The new Everdark Sovereigns are Augur, Equilibrious Beast, Fissure in the Fog and Tricephalos. For the last week of the current Everdark cycle (July 24 to July 31), the Everdark Sovereigns Gaping Jaw and Sentient Pest are challenging skilled combatants as a pair.
Patch 1.01.5 of the dark fantasy action RPG brought some bug fixes. It fixed a bug where the battle against the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest would get stuck and prevent players from completing the fight. It also fixed a bug where the boss could appear outside the battle area during the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest fight.
FromSoftware is celebrating player milestones of its Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and Elden Ring Nightreign title. As per the developer, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has now sold over 10 million units worldwide, whereas Nightreign has “surpassed 5 million units globally, less than two months after launching.”
Elden Ring Nightreign was off to a flying start and quickly lapped up by players worldwide when it launched in May. The standalone Elden Ring adventure sold over 2 million units within 24 hours of launch.
