Earlier this week, Apple introduced the stable build of its iOS 18.4 update for eligible iPhones. Now, the Cupertino-based tech giant has updated its suite of iWork apps to support the new Apple Intelligence features, which were officially introduced with the iOS 18.4 update. Users can now use these artificial intelligence (AI) features across the iWork suite of productivity applications, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, to make edits courtesy of Writing tools.

Apple has confirmed that these iWork additions are accessible across iPhones, iPads, and Macs running iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS 15.4 updates, respectively. A notable feature common across all three platforms is the ability to use Writing Tools. Users can take advantage of Writing Tools to make text edits in documents, presentations, and spreadsheets with the help of Apple Intelligence.

Further, users can now export documents, spreadsheets, and presentations into other formats using shortcuts. The Apple Intelligence-powered feature allows users to proofread or summarise text on their device or these documents and make changes to tone and length or simply rewrite it altogether.

Apple has also updated its Pages app to create additional pages for a word-processing document easier. Moreover, improved copy and paste with Freeform is also available in this app, along with Keynote. Moreover, the Screen View on iPad now displays text, images, and other elements in a steady flow, optimised to the size of the screen.
