WWE Survivor Series 2025 Top Highlights: The annual pay-per-view event saw two significant development, one of which cost John Cena the WWE Intercontinental title. Liv Morgan, who was on a five-month hiatus from the show, made a shocking return to assist on-screen partner Dominik Mysterio, who had lost the title to Cena only a few weeks ago.
The match started with Dominik applying all his dirty tricks with Judgement Day members Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez present on the ring side. As the match got underway, both female superstars helped Dominik with their cheeky assists before being directed to go backstage by the referee. The moment occurred when Dominik faked an injury to keep the official distracted. Taking advantage both Perez and Rodriguez attacked Cena inside the ring, following which Dominik executed a splash. The referee, however, refused to go for a pinfall count, instead banned the Judgement Day members from the ring.
As the match continued, Dominik dodged an attack by Cena that took down the referee. With the official lying unconscious outside the ring, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, the other two members of the Judgement Day stable, showed up and launched an ambush on Cena. The duo were, however, overpowered by a double Attitude Adjustment from the 17-time WWE World Champion.

However, the biggest surprise was the shocking return of Morgan, who deceived Cena to cost him his Intercontinental belt. She shocked everyone by first showing restraint towards Dominik, which turned out to be a part of her plan. As Cena stood surprised, Morgan jumped on him and shared a hug only to hit him with a low blow, and then with the title. This was enough to allow Dominik a win as he reclaimed the title.

Who is the mysterious masked man?
Meanwhile, the Men's WarGames (Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed vs CM Punk, The Usos, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns) saw a mysterious end as a masked intruder climbed over the cage to assist the The Vision. The character, whose identity is not yet disclosed, appeared in a black hood and hit CM Punk with a stomp. This was followed by a powerful spear by Bron Breakker to close the match.

Even Paul Heyman - the architect of The Vision stable - denied any knowledge on who the masked man was but he is speculated to be Austin Theory.
If that is the case it will be a massive promotion for Theory from his previous tag team gig with Grayson Waller. Theory was given massive push as a single competitor towards the final stages of the Vince McMahon era. However, the momentum fell incredibly after a change in regime and it would be interesting to see if the promotion has finally found a more serious role for the young superstar.
