India once again dished out a commanding display against Bangladesh and defeated the latter by 86 runs in the second T20I played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday. Batting first India got off to a jittery start, losing openers Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and skipper Suryakumar Yadav inside the powerplay overs. However, fearless batting by Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh, along with some healthy contribution from Hardik Pandya took India's total to 221/9 in 20 overs. The bowlers produced yet another solid show as Bangladesh could only manage 135/9 in response.
Riyan Parag also had a brief role in India's massive win as he contributed with both bat and the ball. The Assam all-rounder first blasted 15 off 6 with the bat and picked a wicket in the two overs he bowled during the contest. However, it was his antics during the course of the two overs, which took social media by storm.
The incident took place in the 11th over when Parag tried to change his action and threw a flat delivery with a sling action. The ball went past Mahmudullah's bat, who tried to cut it, following which umpires had a closer look to determine if the delivery was legal or not. TV replay confirmed that both his legs was crossing the backline and it was ruled a back-foot no ball.
The moment was enough to bombard social media with 'Kedar Malinga' jokes against the spinner, which was also not the first time the all-rounder was subjected to heavy trolling online. Here are a few reactions:

Interestingly this wasn't the first time Parag tried to employee the sling action in between overs. He has done this a several times in the past during IPL matches.

Coming back to the contest, Parag went to dismiss Mehidy Hasan Miraz in the final delivery of the same over, who was caught by substitute fielder Ravi Bishnoi at long-off. He was dismissed for run a ball 16.
Meanwhile, the outcome gave India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The final encounter will be played on October 12 in Hyderabad.
