The batting onslaughts of opener Abhishek Sharma was one of the reasons of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s stupendous show in IPL 2024.
The Pat Cummins-led side reached all the way to the finals before losing the summit clash to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Abhishek Sharma was the revelation for SRH in the 2024 season scoring 484 runs from 16 matches at a stunning strike rate of 204.22 – that was the fourth highest in the in that edition.
Abhishek led his team to explosive starts and was a part of multiple record-breaking partnerships with Travis Head.
On Wednesday, the official X handle of SRH shared a video of Abhishek joining the team for the forthcoming season that starts from March 22. In the 2024 season, Abhishek smashed the most sixes by any batsman hitting as many as 42 maximums.

SRH are scheduled to play their first match of the 2025 season against Rajasthan Royals on March 23 at their home ground Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad and would be hoping for more rollicking starts from Abhishek this season too.
