Sanjana Ganesan, wife of India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, has blasted at trolls for making offensive comments about their son Angad. On Sunday, Sanjana and Angad attended the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL) match between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Wankhede Stadium, which the former won by 54 runs.
Bumrah played a decisive role in MI's handsome victory, which saw him make an early injection, then strike thrice in the 16th over, virtually sealing the match for his side. Soon after the win pictures of the Bumrah family went viral on social media and some individuals made offensive comments about the little child, leading to strong reaction from Ganesan.

Sanjana addressed the matter on Instagram, stating that her son is not a subject for amusement. Additionally, she advised viewers to exercise caution while passing remarks on Angad and keep their thoughts to themselves.
“Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment. Jasprit and I do everything in our power to keep Angad away from social media because the internet is a despicable, vile place to be and I completely understand the implications of bringing a child to a cricket stadium filled with cameras, but please understand that Angad and I were there to support Jasprit and nothing else," wrote Sanjana on her Instagram story.

“Throwing around words like trauma and depression in reference to a baby says so much about who we're becoming as a community and it's honestly really sad. You know nothing about our son, nothing about our lives and I request you to keep your opinions online true to that,” she added.
Sanjana and Angad are frequently spotted on the ground supporting Bumrah. Fans all throughout the world adored the couple's photos as they celebrated their victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup with their son. But it exposed their son to the online world, where trolling is a common occurrence.
Bumrah, meanwhile, has been outstanding since making a full recovery from a back ailment he suffered in Australia earlier this year in January. The speedster has now taken nine wickets in six matches for MI, who have won five straight games to climb third in the team standings.
