Jaipur will hold the royal derby featuring Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals on Saturday. The 19th match of IPL 2024 will be played at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur from 7 30 PM.
Rajasthan Royals have a clean slate so far and are perched at the top of the points table along with Kolkata Knight Riders. They started their campaign at home beating Lucknow Super Giants by 20 runs. RR followed it up with another comprehensive win against the visiting Delhi Capitals. In their third match the Royals travelled to Mumbai and got a big win defeating the Indians by 6 wickets and 4 overs to spare.
With three wins in three matches, the Rajasthan Royals look unstoppable as the face RCB at home. RR possesses a happy hunting unit. Even though their aggressive opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler have not fired, Riyan Parag and skipper Sanju Samson have shone swashbuckling forms.
Prag has scored 181 runs in 3 matches at an average of 181 and seems to have finally blossomed as a dependable batter and finisher. In the bowling section, Trent Boult, Nandre Burger and Chahal have looked impressive. Sanju Samson is unlikely to change the winning combination in their tie against RCB.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have had a poor start losing three out of their first four matches. Their only win has come against Punjab Kings at home while they have lost to CSK, KKR and LSG so far.
RCB have multiple issues to overcome. Their batting has been misfiring while their bowling looks uninspired. RCB will look to fit in Mahipal Lolor in the eleven. Lomlor was the highest scorer for them in the last match hitting 33 runs in 13 balls as an impact player. RCB also have the option of replacing Yash Dayal with Vijay Vyshak and give their bowling attack more teeth.
