In another incident from the same match, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya faced a tough time with the crowd at home ground Wankhede stadium. The audience booed him during the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This season, Hardik has been a controversial figure ever since he replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain of Mumbai Indians, which hasn't gone down well with some fans.

During the match, the situation got intense, and Virat Kohli stepped in to support Hardik. Kohli reminded the crowd that Hardik is still a player representing India and deserves respect.

The match itself was one-sided. Mumbai Indians easily chased down RCB's target of 197 runs with almost five overs to spare. Hardik was on the field when Mumbai secured the victory, and the moment was made special with Kohli’s supportive gesture.

From the batting side, it was Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan who stole the show. Kishan played a stunning inning, scoring 69 runs from just 34 balls, including seven fours and five sixes. Suryakumar contributed equally impressively, scoring 52 runs off 19 balls. His quick scoring included four sixes and five fours, helping Mumbai to achieve the target swiftly.
