Most runs by an Indian at Lord's:

With 508 runs at an incredible average of 72.57, legendary Indian batsman Dilip Vengsarkar is the Indian player with the most runs at the iconic venue. The former right-hander often showed his hitting brilliance at Lord's by imprinting his dominance over the English bowlers.

Vengsarkar's legendary legacy at the Home of Cricket is cemented by the fact that he is still the only batter from outside the country to have scored three Test hundreds at Lord's.

Highest score by an Indian at Lord's:

Even after 73 years, Vinoo Mankad still has the record for the greatest individual score by an Indian in a Test match at the iconic London stadium. In a 1952 match against England, Mankad scored 184 runs, dominating the hosts by hitting 19 fours and a six in the extensive 270-ball knock.

Most wickets by an Indian at Lord's:

Notably, three renowned bowlers from different eras—Bishan Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, and Ishant Sharma—share the record of taking the most Test wickets for India at Lord's. Each of the three bowlers from various eras took 17 wickets at the ground to leave a lasting memory.

They had some notable spells at Lord's. In 1974, Bedi's performance at Lord's was particularly noteworthy, as he registered figures of 6/226. This achievement guaranteed him a spot on the esteemed Honours Board.

In the 1982 Test at Lord's, Kapil Dev put up an outstanding individual display, finishing with overall figures of 8/168, including a five-wicket haul in the opening innings.

India's historic 95-run victory, their first at Lord's since 1986, was largely secured thanks to Ishant's career-best statistics of 7/74 in England's second innings.

What transpired during India's previous match versus England at Lord's:

Virat Kohli led India to a decisive 151-run victory in their most recent match against England at Lord's.  Mohammed Siraj destroyed the hosts with a combined eight-wicket haul in both innings, while KL Rahul set the stage with an incredible century.
