Babar Azam finds himself in hot water as a video of him engaged in a heated argument with fans has gone viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place outside a mosque in Lahore after the star Pakistan batter attended Friday prayers. In the video, Babar can be seen confronting a fan, following which many more gather around. Then he turns around and shoves a person before storming off the scene.
As reported by Geo Super, a Pakistan TV channel, the argument started not to record him while praying but one individual resisted the request. After being done with the prayer, Babar Azam walked up to the individual, which led to a confrontation between the two. Here is the video:

Social media war involving Babar and Kamran Akmal
Meanwhile, Babar was entangled in another controversy with his father Azam Siddique being involved in this. Babar's father has stirred a social media war between him and ex-Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Kamran Akmal over the latter's remarks on his son. Both parties didn't held back as Siddique accused Akmal of "jealousy" and the former cricketer asking Babar's father to “stay within your limits.”
The tension between the two started with Akmal's reaction to Pakistan new coach Mike Hesson deciding to drop senior pros Babar and Mohammad Rizwan from the T20I side. He expressed that the duo should also be sidelined from ODIs and be kept in Tests only.
The remark didn't sit well with Siddique, who took to Instagram and shared an old photo which had Babar, Akmal and himself in the frame. In his caption Siddique reminded Akmal of how Babar scored a century on the same day the ex-cricketer was out for a duck.
