India Champions didn't have a great start to the ongoing edition of the World Championship of Legends. After pulling out from their match against Pakistan Champions due to political tension between the two countries, the team endured a 88-run defeat against South Africa Champions as per the DLS method.
South Africa piled a staggering 208/6 in 20 overs largely due to captain's effort from AB de Villiers, who struck 63* off 30 balls. As per Cricbuzz, floodlight issues brought a halt to match, when India were batting at 111/9 in 18.2 over as DLS rule was implemented.

De Villiers then demonstrated his value in fielding in addition to his valiant efforts with the bat. In the 8th over bowled by Imran Tahir, Yusuf Pathan smoked a full-toss towards the long-on. De Villiers, who was positioned close by, slid in the direction of the boundary line and skillfully caught the ball. He then displayed great game awareness and popped the ball in the air, following which Sarel Erwee completed a brilliant relay catch by putting in a dive.

De Villiers genuinely demonstrated that he is still fit to play even after his retirement, leaving all fans and even the commentators in disbelief.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh, the captain of the India Champions, had a niggle while fielding and didn't walk out to bat.
