Switzerland glaciers shrink by 10% | Worst melt-rate since 2022

Switzerland is home to more than half of the glaciers in the Alps. The glaciers in Swiss have suffered their second-worst melt rate this year after record 2022 losses. The glaciers haver shrunk their overall volume by 10% in the last two years. It means they lost as much ice in two years as in the three decades before 1990.
