Bangalore Chalisa Protest: How an attack on a shopkeeper over loud music took a communal turn

An altercation allegedly broke out between a Bengaluru shopkeeper and a group of men for playing a devotional song in his shop. The incident occurred on March 17 at Siddannagalli in the Cubbonpet area which is within the limits of Halasuru Gate police station. The initial reports, however, said that the fight took place over a money dispute but later according to the FIR the scuffle occurred over playing of devotional song at the time of Azaan prayers. But there was no mention of 'Hanuman Chalisa' in the FIR. What was the whole matter? Watch to find out
