Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to have an interaction with students at USTM University, which is located at the Assam-Meghalaya border. However, Congress alleged that his invitation was cancelled following Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s involvement. Nevertheless, in compliance with the spirit of the Yatra, the Congress party spontaneously interacted with a group of students at a nearby hotel.
