There were rains with hailstorm in many parts of Madhya Pradesh such as Gwalior, Morena and Shivpuri and this has damage the standing crop of Chana in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh is the largest producer of Chana in the country with average in season area of 30.595 lakh hectares.
