The United States Department of Agriculture has marginally raised its forecast for India’s Cotton output for 2016-17 to 34.62 million bales (1 bale = 170 kg) from 33.98 million bales projected in October. USDA has also raised its forecast for cotton exports from the country to 5.4 million bales from 5.0 million bales forecasted earlier.By: Skymetweather.com
