In an ongoing Rabi season, Groundnut sowing is up 12% at 4.64 lakh hectares as compared to 4.13 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year. Normal in season area of Groundnut is 8.46 lakh hectares in the country. Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat are the largest producer of Rabi Groundnut.By: Skymetweather.com
